Dog on bed. McDonald's Big Breakfast on bed. Dog makes no advances. Strange -- dog must really be sleepy.
As if on cue, dog stirs in sleep... Naked dog alert! Human panics at sight of exposed stitches and spots forsaken shirt in corridor.
Human cajoles dog into putting on shirt. Dog is not amused and embarks on adventure to shed artificial skin again.
Lather, rinse, repeat. Not so cute after 32153612578 times. Human needs sleep.

Would 1 of those cone things help?
Otherwise known as "The Lampshade," it probably is more effective. But it's extremely frustrating for a dog, I expect. So you kinda always have to weigh -- to risk making your dog's temperament impossible to deal with? Heh. It's been okay so far, not bad enough to warrant the dreaded Lampshade. And stitches are finally off! Photos to come, when I get the energy. ;)
I wanna see photos of a coney dog... hur hur.. geddit? :o)
