What kids are reading these days

Whatever happened to Charlotte's Web and The Magic Faraway Tree?!

TRS: Was there a telekinetic girl?! Charlotte is a spider leh! I was always more Enid Blyton; never read much Roald Dahl, although the crocodile book comes to mind. =\
