Now that u mention it, I wonder if I'll still cry if I were to read Charlotte's Web... hmm...
Was there a movie? I seem to have a vague impression of a movie, but I can't remember. My long-term memory sucks. :(
yeah, there was... and Charlotte's weak voice as she was about to die was just weepy..
Heehee. What a funny title.
Woof!: :(
TRS: Was there a telekinetic girl?! Charlotte is a spider leh! I was always more Enid Blyton; never read much Roald Dahl, although the crocodile book comes to mind. =\
mis_nomer: I know. The more I think about it, the more I want to go back and read it. :)
Charlotte's Web. Awww....I remember it vaguely too. I think I've cried over that one. There's a blast from the past!
Only Roald Dahl, Charles Dickens, Enid Blyton, and the like... now those are true children's books... But I rather have the feeling I belong to the PAST generation...
janna: Maybe we should all pick it up to re-read sometime! :)
Vandice: Yes, it would appear that kids these days read very different books than those we're used to. :)
LC - Actually, a reread might be fun. It shouldn't take that long now that we aren't kids anymore! :) Just say the word!
