Second opinion
My dad went shopping for new year clothes on Saturday, but came home empty handed. He complained about how expensive everything was -- how it costs at least $40 to get a nice pair of pants.
Today, I sent my mom to accompany him. They went shopping after church, and came home at dinner time with five pairs of pants and four shirts.
The assurance of second opinion is very powerful indeed.
