Dissolution

From time to time, I awake from a dream, or have some thoughts while lying in bed, that I want to remember to write about (blog or otherwise) when I'm actually lucid. When I cannot get my hand on pen and paper, I key them into my mobile phone; just key words that will help me recall.

Today, I found a stored message:

"The morning after. Dissolution of friendship."

I have no idea how it came to be there, when I wrote it, or why. And, yes, what kind of person actually types out "dissolution" in their stupor? Feels like an ominous warning of sorts.

K asked me what I wanted for my birthday; I forwarded him my wish list.

K: "You have THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY items on your wish list."

Me: "Your point? If you can't decide, you can buy them all."

K: "350 is too many. I'll just buy the first 200."

I wish he weren't kidding.

I've finally lost count. But this one wasn't all that good. Too dry. Didn't stop me from finishing it, though.

No wonder this "romance" thing, as Hollywood knows it, is so over-rated drives everyone (a little) crazy. I only caught the last 20 minutes, but that exchange between Mike Delfino and Susan Mayer left me grinning like an idiot till my cheeks ached.

Susan: "Listen, Mike, about the whole seeing me naked thing... I just want to thank you for being such a perfect gentleman."

Mike: "Oh, I wasn't a perfect gentleman; I might've snuck a peek."

Susan (grins stupidly, at a loss for words): "Oh, goodnight."

Mike (charmingly): "And for what it's worth... WOW."

yeah.. that was charming.. I'm up till Ep 10, and seeing them with the sexual tension when they were flirting is more interesting when they are effectively together..

I obtained eps of the show Lost that you were talking about.. and it was quite nice until there became supernatural events and a polar bear on a tropical island.. hmm..
